How to Arrange Windows with Snap Layouts on Windows 11

  1. Hover over the maximize button

    Move your mouse cursor over the maximize button in the top-right corner of the window you want to arrange and pause briefly.

  2. Choose the layout you want

    When the screen-split preview appears, click the arrangement you prefer.

  3. Fill the remaining slots

    Clicking an empty slot brings up a list of your other open windows so you can choose one to fill it.

  4. Snap quickly with a keyboard shortcut

    Pressing the Windows key plus an arrow key also snaps a window to half the screen or into a corner instantly.
