Does this work on non-English text?
UPPERCASE/lowercase conversion only has meaning for alphabetic scripts. camelCase, snake_case, and similar formats join words together by splitting on spaces, so they will technically run on other scripts too, but these naming conventions were originally designed for writing code in English.
