How to Use the Morph Transition in PowerPoint

  1. Duplicate the slide

    Duplicate the slide you want to apply the effect to, so you have two similar slides.

  2. Change an object's position or size on the second slide

    On the duplicated slide, change the position, size, or color of a shape or text box.

  3. Select "Morph" in the Transitions tab

    With the second slide selected, apply the "Morph" effect from the "Transitions" tab.

  4. Preview the smooth animation

    Click play to see the object move smoothly from its position on the first slide to its new position on the second.

  5. Why this is useful

    Without setting up complex animations one by one, Morph automatically calculates the difference between two slides to create a smooth, movie-like transition.

Matching object names matter
