What micellar water is

A cleansing product in which tiny surfactant particles called micelles are dispersed throughout water.

Each micelle has an oil-attracting inner core and a water-friendly outer surface, which lets it attract and lift away makeup and debris even though the product itself feels as light as water.

How to use it properly

Saturate a cotton pad and press it gently against the skin to lift away makeup, rather than rubbing. For delicate areas like the eyes or lips, resting a soaked pad on the area for a few seconds before wiping reduces irritation.

Do you need to double cleanse afterward?

On days with light makeup or just sunscreen, micellar water alone can be enough, but after heavy or waterproof makeup, following up with a facial cleanser is often recommended.
