  1. Search for or select the place to share

    Search for the place you want to share on the map, or pick it from your saved list.

  2. Open the place's details

    Tap the place to open its detail screen showing the name, address, and hours.

  3. Tap the share icon

    On the detail screen, tap the share icon.

  4. Choose an app to send it through

    Pick the app you want, such as Messages, WhatsApp, or email, to send the location link.

  5. Why this is useful

    Sending a link with the exact location instead of describing a meeting spot out loud makes it much easier for the other person to find it.

A link beats a verbal description every time

For places that are hard to describe β€” a complex building, a shop tucked down an alley β€” sending a map link instead of explaining it in words lets the other person find the exact spot much faster and more accurately.
