  1. Open the group chat you want to post a notice in

    Go into the group chat where you want an announcement to stay visible.

  2. Long-press the message you want to pin

    Long-press an already-sent message that you want everyone to see, whether it is meeting details or a group rule.

  3. Select "Pin"

    Choose "Pin" from the menu that appears, and pick how long it should stay pinned -- 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
