How to Add an Email Address to Your WhatsApp Account

    Open the confirmation email WhatsApp sends and tap the link inside to complete the connection.

    If you're ever locked out of your account or need to prove it's really you, a verified email gives WhatsApp another way to confirm your identity beyond just your phone number.

Different from the two-step verification PIN email

This is a general-purpose account email used for identity verification and account recovery. A backup line to your account, not a login method
