How to Import and Export Chrome Bookmarks

Keep years of saved bookmarks safe when you switch computers or browsers.

  1. Open the Bookmark Manager

    Click the three-dot menu in the top right, then go to "Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark Manager."

  2. Export your bookmarks

    In the Bookmark Manager, open the three-dot menu at the top and choose "Export bookmarks" to save them as an HTML file.

  3. Import bookmarks back in

    From the same menu, choose "Import bookmarks" and select the file you saved earlier.

  4. Import from another browser

    Use the "Import bookmarks and settings" option to pull bookmarks directly from another browser installed on the same computer.
