Camera Exposure Basics: Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO Explained

Every photo, from a phone snapshot to a professional shoot, is shaped by the same three settings. Here is what each one actually controls.

Aperture (f-stop)

The size of the opening in the lens, written as an f-number like f/2.8 or f/16. Shutter speed

ISO

Focal length

Why "faster" lenses cost more
