How to Set Up Biometric Login for Your Banking App

Signing into your banking app with a fingerprint or face scan is faster than typing a password every time. Here is how to set it up.

  1. Confirm your device supports biometrics

    Your phone needs a fingerprint sensor or face-recognition feature already set up at the device level before a banking app can use it for login.

  2. Find the biometric login option in the app

    Look under "Settings" or "Security settings" for a fingerprint or face login item.

  3. Register your fingerprint or face
